Back from hit-air work at Rolex, waiting for Neubee to heal

Trying to stay positive while Neubee heals. Thank goodness i wasn’t riding him. These big dangerous animals; we love them but they can injure or kill us so easily. I have had a few accidents wearing my hit-air vest. It gives me a level of security I would not have and I don’t want to be foolish or kid myself.
People seem to think a vest is only needed when jumping. Our worst wrecks happen not when we are focused and measuring every thing we and our horse are doing. Accidents can’t be scheduled, Reuben’s 12 year old son Daniel said that! Reuben is the CEO of PEDCO, the wholesale distributor who brings me into Rolex every year.

We now accept clicking a seat-belt, we feel naked or vulnerable without it.  I wish when everyone rides they would think about this simple click, hit-air-equestrian safety vests.
