He had a drug reaction and died at the end of my lead rope, with Brian and I struggling with him and then weeping atop him. Poor Bootz, I miss him; our property is smaller now.<\/p>\n<p>Today i went and looked at a rescue type horse. He was cute, nice eye, seeming good temperament, horriblly neglected feet, like 2 inches long with one shoe broken in half at the \u00a0toe and&#8230;. the owner saying. Oh he lost a shoe, as if shoes should last longer than \u00a05 months or so&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>I know if Brian had been there we would have brought the horse home, in fact I could have brought him home a week to work him. I was afraid if i brought him i would not have been able to return him.<\/p>\n<p>i just got this feeling, i don&#8217;t want to do this. i don&#8217;t want to take this horse. it&#8217;s too much work.
