Our dog had TPLO surgery, they cut off the end of the tibia and slide the knuckle and realign the angle between the knuckle and the top of the femur. Not a trivial surgery. Animals are amazing. His brain doesn’t seem to know his bones have to heal. He is glued not stapled or sutured, the incision seems healed. Keeping him calm and quiet for the next 5 months will be the key. Not easy, he is and wants to be so active.
